Penn Siegel brings a distinguished career spanning decades in strategic planning, finance, and executive leadership. Born in Richmond, Virginia, in 1942, Penn graduated from Dartmouth College in 1967 with a degree in Economics. He began his professional journey as a Senior Analyst at New York Citi Bank, focusing on forest products, and continued this emphasis during his tenure at Drexel Burnham Lambert.

In 1979, Penn joined Potlatch Corporation, where he held numerous leadership roles, including Treasurer, Senior Vice President of Finance and Administration, Group Vice President of Timber and Wood Products, and Executive Vice President of Pulp-Based Products. In 1994, he became President and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the relocation of the company’s headquarters from San Francisco to Spokane, Washington, in 1997. From 1999 to 2006, Penn served as Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, leading Potlatch through significant growth and transformation.

Beyond his corporate achievements, Penn has been deeply committed to environmental conservation and community leadership. He served on the Board of the Idaho Nature Conservancy from 2006 to 2014, concluding his term as Chairman. Additionally, he has held leadership roles as Past President of the Hayden Lake Country Club in Idaho and the Thunderbird Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California.

Penn's extensive experience in corporate governance, strategic planning, and community involvement makes him a valuable asset to the board.
